How often should you have your eyes examined?
You should have your eyes tested once every year, especially if you wear contact lenses, are over the age of 40, suffer from chronic systemic conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension etc. Most medical aids will only allow you to have your eyes tested once every two years, this is not enough if you fall in any of the categories mentioned. You may not necessarily need to change your spectacles every year, but you need to have your eyes examined annually.
