Angle Closure Glaucoma
Angle closure glaucoma is not very common, but it is very obvious. The happens when the outflow of aqueous humor is blocked, resulting in a pressure spike. This kind of glaucoma is characterized by severe pain, blurred vision, halos around lights, nausea and vomiting. Blindness can result within three days if not properly treated. It would be very hard to ignore such symptoms for days!
Treatment
Lowering the intra ocular pressure is the only method of treatment, and this can be done in various ways such as medication in the form of eye drops, laser surgery and filtration surgery.
