A headache is a way for your body to tell you there’s something wrong. It is often a symptom and not a condition. People end up addicted to pain medications because of uninvestigated headaches, others spend a lot of time and money consulting various specialists to try and get to the bottom of the problem.
In many cases, the cause is actually simple, not drinking enough water, poor diet, a change in diet (reducing your sugar or carb intake will initially cause some headaches as your body adjusts), and vision problems, are some of the causes.
Vision related headaches are usually on the front or the sides of the head, they tend to get worse as the day progresses and improve with rest. The most common causes of headaches are astigmatism and farsightedness. Vision is usually ok in both these conditions, so you don’t think it’s your eyes. If you get regular headaches, it is a good idea to get your eyes examined.
