A lot of people think reading glasses are not really glasses. They don’t see them as the medical device that they are, especially because you can buy them at the local pharmacy. Reading glasses, like all spectacles, come in different prescriptions, and without consulting an Optometrist, there’s no way of knowing which prescription is suitable for you.
If you struggle to see up close, or your eyes get sore and/or tired when you look at the computer screen, you need to get your eyes examined, so that appropriate spectacles can be prescribed. Do not buy whatever is on offer at the pharmacy without advice, besides, an eye exam will also reveal any health problems you may be developing.
