The New Year always brings changes on the medical aid front. Some of these changes are only beneficial to the schemes themselves, and not the members. Some medical aids such as Bonitas, Bestmed and Medihelp, have not increased their frame benefits, meaning members have to dip into their pockets to cover shortfalls. We will do our best to keep frame pricing low, which is very difficult in this economic environment. We anticipate a difficult year, but together, we will weather the storm.
