Tips for Spectacle Wearers
We’ve been advised to avoid toughing our faces, and spectacles may offer some protection for the eyes, however, remember to thoroughly clean them as well. Mask wearing has added an annoyance of fogging for spectacle wearers, here are some tips to help with this:
- Clean your lenses with lens cleaner or soap and water, then wipe thoroughly with your lens cloth or a clean towel
- Make sure your masks fits your face properly, the top of your mask should follow the shape of your nose, and the sides should be tight but not uncomfortable. The top of the mask should be sealed to avoid air rushing up to your lenses.
- Your specs should sit over your mask
- If your specs are loose or tight, please come through so we can adjust them for you, just call us first so we know you’re coming.
