Farsightedness, or Hyperopia, is a condition whereby your distance vision is generally good, but you struggle to see near. The main complaint of hyperopic people is the inability to read small text on a book or screen, for prolonged periods of time. It may affect anyone of any age. The eyes tend to get sore after some time, and headaches on the sides and front of the head are also common.
Presbyopia makes farsightedness worse, as they are similar conditions in that they both affect near vision. The best way to help a Hyperope with Presbyopia is reading glasses, bifocal lenses or multifocal lenses, depending on the status of their distance vision.
